Fighter sprite of me

Hey look it's a sprite that's nothing to do with Doctor Who! But surely that's all I pixel anymore? Hm, maybe not.

I saw over on Pixel Joint their current weekly challenge was to pixel a fighting game sprite of yourself so I thought hey I've kinda been wanting to do that for a while so here you go. Been ages since I sprited anything like this so I'm sure it's flawed all to hell but it'll do for me. And yes I posed and took a photo of myself in those clothes to help sprite it. Damn, my jacket's stripes are annoyingly placed and probably ruin the arm on the left's sense of volume but yeah. I might tweak the sprite before the challenge week is over or not cos I've already wasted enough time on it and I'm a busy little furball.. I dunno. Anyways...

As a little extra here's the sprite appearing on a section of background from Gen's stage on Street Fighter Alpha 2 with arcade monitor like scanlines just for fun. [link] Background is work of Capcom's artists obviously so copyright or whatever to them. Is just being used as an example of how the sprite looks with a quality pixelled background rather than DeviantArt's bland and too bright background color.
