Batman - TNBA figure by Carnivius Batman - TNBA figure by Carnivius
My christmas treat to myself. New figure of the mid-90's animated Batman. £19.49 with free delivery which is a bargain considering all the stuff you get with it (weapons, many different hands, display stand, even an alternate cape) and the price of far crappier figures on the shelves of shops that have nothing included. I'm happy.=)

He looks freaking great. He does come with a lot of stuff. I may have to wait till after Christmas to get one as money is low at the moment. Gah I want it now though. XD

He really is awesome.  Feels like quality too. Was a bit worried when trying to bend some of the joints cos they were a little stiff (and the horror of my first NECA Predator figure that just fell to bits is forever burnt into my mind) but he loosened up fine.

I definitely want the Joker from this line.  He looks cool on the promotional leaflet (I made sure to include that in the photo).  I like that under each figure on that leaflet it says exactly which episode inspired the figure too.

After that NECA Predator breaking I would be wary also.

I saw some reviews of the Dr. Freeze and Two-Face too. I like the fact that Freezes head come off and his robot spider legs from the episode can be attached. Seem good that these figures come with a good about of extra stuff. I bet the Joker will have some cool accessories also.

Freeze has the spider legs?  Aw man that's a great accessory!  The toy designers really showing a lot of love in creating these (Having two capes with Batman just so you can have it swept back over the shoulders for better arm movement or the one with it draped right over for moodiness shows that perfectly too).   Am wondering what the Robins will come with.  Particularly Tim cos he's only half the size of the other figures.   And even the tall Killer Croc comes with his lil dwarf girlfriend Baby Doll.   I'm really hoping this line continues after the initial 12.   Maybe even expand to Superman The Animated Series (I'd love a Supes to stand with this Batman) and even Justice League?   Fully posable figures of the entire JLU roster would be amazing but probably never happen.

By the way you mentioned the original Hot Toys ED-209 dome problems?

Yeah... and people paid hundreds for that?   Tsk.

I would like to see the JLU figures done like this. even if they just stick to the main seven. That would open the line up to many more characters from the DC cartoon universe.

That' ED-209 dome is bad. I think there is a 3rd party replacement plastic version you can get. but at the price of the figure you think they would come with one. I here people are worrying about the Robocop Hot toys figure as they look like they used the same rubber under the metal suit.

Yeah but maybe they could open up votes for any JLU alumni to the fans and would hopefully mean we'd get the more popular characters like The Question, The Huntress, Green Arrow and Black Canary!   Strange how we get The Creeper in wave 3 of the Batman figures when he only appeared in one episode (as the Creeper, he was in several as Jack Ryder).  Can we have Etrigan the demon then?  Or hang on...where's Ra's Al Ghul, Clayface, Penguin or Scarecrow (I'd like the original TAS Penguin and the TNBA scary-assed Scarecrow)?

Oh really? I haven't heard of any Robo's deterioating.   They've just released battle damaged Robo featuring Weller's actual face.  He's finally licensed it to a toy company?  But the ones you can't afford!  Why can't he give NECA the rights.  grr. =p

Yeah would be cool got get some of the others non main members of the Justice League. Even watching they show the did have some obscure ones. Like I never heard of Hawk and Dove before then.

i don't think there have been any reports yet of the rubber on Robo deteriorating yet. but some people say it's seems like the same thin rubber used. I watched a review on the hot toys ed-209 and even the voice chip is not from the film. the NECA one is.

I had a bit of a problem with my Jetpack Robo.  His waist wouldn't turn at all yet somehow it was already at a turned angle.  I asked NECA about it and they just advised about holding him under warm water or a hairdryer to try loosen.  Took some doing (and he's really hard to grip there cos you end up just turning this chest area most of the time) but eventually he loosed up.   I think he's my fave of all the Robos just cos of that lovely blue shine and purple highlights.   I've got three of them lined up with the accessories so Battle Damaged holding the Cobra Assault Cannon is my Robo 1, blue repaint is Robo 2 and I gave the jetpack to my original Robo to make Robo 3 (cos he's silver in that film).   And then they're flanked by the first spring-loaded Robo, NES Robo and NightFighter.  I still don't know if I'm getting the RvsT ones yet.  I've other things going on in my head lately.
